How does Pricing Model works under my reseller account

Pricing Models

Choose the Pricing Models menu item to see the information about all of the pricing models, available at CloudJiffy platform, with the appropriate tariffs according to each model.

I’ll see a simple table with the expandable list of the available pricing models, where the default and custom (i.e. added by cluster-admin) samples are listed. Each model has a short Description and Date of creation.

Click on a particular model to see the information about its assigned tariffs at the pane to the right (with tariffs details like Type/Name, Template, and Description) and to edit them if needed.

Edit Pricing Model’s Tariffs

If I’d like to modify the tariffs settings for a particular pricing model, follow the instruction below:

1. Choose the needed Pricing model by clicking on it.

2. Switch to the right-hand Tariffs tab and select the Edit button above the list.

3. Choose the needed tariff plans from the list.

Note that there should be at least one obligatory default plan chosen for each tariff type. Also, I can tick/untick additionally created tariffs for some separate nodes or features if there are any.

After all the necessary configurations are done, click Apply at the top tools panel.

Add a New Pricing Model

For adding a new pricing model, perform the next simple steps:

1. Click the Add button above the list of existing models.

2. I’ll see the Add Pricing Model window opened:

Here I need to specify:
  • Name of my new pricing model
  • Description (optionally)
  • Tariffs that will be assigned to this model

Note that there should be at least one obligatory default plan chosen for each tariff type. Also, I can tick/untick additionally created tariffs for some separate nodes or features if there are any.

3. After all the required values are stated, click Save at the bottom of the form. The new pricing model will appear on the list.

Remove Pricing Model

I can delete the unnecessary or outdated model in a few simple steps:

1. Choose the needed pricing model and click Remove at the top tools panel.

Note: I can remove only that pricing model, which is not or hasn’t been assigned to any group.

2. Confirm my choice within the pop-up frame. As a result, the appropriate model will be removed from the list.

Resellers Pricing Models

In case, when there is at least one Platform reseller, a special drop-down list will appear at the tools panel. It allows to switch between the main- and all of the assigned sub-platforms:

The information on the initial Platform pricing models will always be named as Own pricing models within this list, while other options will be named after the corresponding reseller and marked with the (reseller) label.
